Number 1000

Number 1000

Well, in the midst of busily getting ready for the Circleville Pumpkin Festival that starts a week from Tuesday (the pottery is pumpkin central -- several hundred pumpkins on the shelves, in the kilns, on the work tables, glazed, bisqued, drying -- I also just made my 1000th sale on Etsy. The pumpkin pictured above was shipped off to Easthampton, MA.

  4. It would have been nice to see you, Jim. But, yes, St James was VERY good again this year. I'm very thankful. It's taken me a little less than three years to hit the 1000 mark on Etsy. It's an perplexing catch -- if the shows are good, I don't have pots for Etsy and sales slow down there. I haven't found a comfortable balance yet.
