Number 1000
Number 1000 Well, in the midst of busily getting ready for the Circleville Pumpkin Festival that starts a week from Tuesday (the pottery is pumpkin central -- several hundred pumpkins on the shelves, in the kilns, on the work tables, glazed, bisqued, drying -- I also just made my 1000th sale on Etsy. The pumpkin pictured above was shipped off to Easthampton, MA.
Congrats John and Dar !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations indeed, selling on Etsy takes dedication!
ReplyDeletecongrats john, you are the man. at my current rate, it will take me until 2016 to get to 1000. i assume you were at st. james, i couldn't brave the crowds but i hope you sold out
ReplyDeleteIt would have been nice to see you, Jim. But, yes, St James was VERY good again this year. I'm very thankful. It's taken me a little less than three years to hit the 1000 mark on Etsy. It's an perplexing catch -- if the shows are good, I don't have pots for Etsy and sales slow down there. I haven't found a comfortable balance yet.
ReplyDeleteyour capture of the pumpkin's soul is very well done, i just chopped one in half to make dessert!! happy thanksgiving tomorrow! hilary
ReplyDeleteYou need to list more stuff, you're up to 1001 now.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
